Quinn's Day

This year Quinn's Birthday and Father's Day fell on the same day; lucky Quinn;-)
Earlier in the week I surprised Quinn with a birthday date on a Thursday night. I blind folded him and took him up to Sundance (looking back the blind fold may have been a mistake given the winding canyon roads which lead there- oopsies sorry about the car sickness). Luckily his appetite returned with a little fresh air and we enjoyed a fabulously delicious dinner at the Foundry Grill. Then we grabbed a blanket from the car and took a night time lift ride up and down the mountainside (this is only open two days a month, during the full moon- hence why the date was on a Thursday). We had a blast! I think Birthday dates instead of parties will be a new tradition for us since I found out Quinn doesn't like birthday parties...after I threw him one;-)
Quinn is such a great dad- Belle lights up like a fireworks show when he walks through the door at night and she is crushed if he disappears again before bedtime (like to change his clothes or use the bathroom). I'm pretty sure Parker likes Quinn too, at least he's never told me otherwise;-) Quinn is great about pitching in with house work without being asked, and to my radiant delight he is a fabulous cook (turned grill master recently in honor of summertime)!

Behold his spoils! (not pictured are the new glasses I gave him and his gifts from his grandma)

I was pretty crafty this year with his Father's Day gift:-)

Lanie and I made a delicious Father's Day dinner for the fellas. This picture just shows off the meat- yummy
The Celebration...cyber guests and all;-)
One year old and wiser too... Happy Birthday Quinn, I love you!
