Belle was so excited for trick-or-treating this year (explained it to her at least 20 times during the day so that she would be well prepared when the time came). After dinner she asked to put on her costume and hold her pumpkin bag just like I had been telling her she could:-)

She snuggled Parker and said goodnight...the little man didn't even wear his costume that night- too sleepy!

Quinn and his dad took Belle and her friend Sudiksha around in our neighborhood.

This was the first trick-or-treating experience for both girls since Sudiksha is the daughter of the VP of Quinn's company and they moved here from India last June.

They had a great time, and Quinn enjoyed reporting to me afterwards: Belle was a pro apparently...she would hold out her bag and say trick-or-treat and then after she got her candy she would say in the same breath,"thank you, next door!" Haha I guess all of my training stuck!

She enjoyed her candy that night, but we put it up after she went to bed and she has never asked for it again:-)
She has, however, enjoyed playing trick-or-treat several times since...she'll take a toy basket and walk around the room and then come up to me, say the line, wait for me to put a toy in the basket, and then say thank you and repeat the process. This girl has a great imagination:-)
