October Odds and Ends

I missed a few opportunities to post last month:
We had our first snow the first week of October! It came too early in the year for my liking, but thankfully it didn't last long. The rest of the month we had perfect Autumn weather:-)

Thankfully it was warm enough to continue our daily outings to the many parks in our area...we will miss you, Playgrounds! We had our second winter storm today, and I am told the third will be here later in the week- bring on the Winter weather! The scene is set perfectly for us to begin listening to Holiday Music (or Christmas Music as some would say). It is traditional to start listening to the festive tunes on November 1st in our home...it's the holiday season!

It's also football season...Go Broncos! We went over to Boise to cheer on 'Uncle Byron' last month. He is having a great year and we are loving to watch his games...every time Belle sees Football being played she exclaims, "THERE is Uncle Byron!"
Her hair looks so awesome in this picture because she pulled her piggy tales out and then the sun shine, sun screen, and noise-cancellation headphones made her head itchy... but don't worry, she does have a pink lolly pop:-)

Random stories about Belle:

The first time I asked her if she wanted piggy tales in her hair she stood frozen for a second, then turned around and gave me a suspicious look, and then scrunched her nose and said, "oink, oink" (I guess my innocent expression convinced her that my question was sincere and she decided piggy tales were a good idea).

I do Belle's hair with her standing on her step stool in front of her bathroom sink, so she can see herself in the mirror. For almost a month, every time I finished she would like at herself in the mirror and say, "I'm a girl!"
