The Lights on Temple Square

We decided to brave the cold with Nolan and Marjorie and take the babies to see the Christmas lights up in Salt Lake...

What were we thinking... please note Belle's crazed expression in the picture below

Her eyes, leash, and the death grip I have on her pretty much say it all.

It was beautiful, freezing, and SUPER crowded...I think we are still a few years away from our kids appreciating, or allowing Quinn or me to enjoy, this special Christmas scene.

As my father likes to apply Charlie Brown's wisdom, 'and by golly we were going to enjoy those lights!'

Parker Boy 7.5 Months

I love this boy! Definitely a mama's boy who complains whenever I leave his direct line of sight; even though he makes it difficult to think through the yelling while I do laundry, dishes, shower, get dressed, go to the bathroom, and basically everything else moms need to do everyday, I LOVE his constant snuggles and smiles:-)

He is great at feeding himself from his tray (green beans, corn, bread, etc.), holding his sippee cup, saying, "dadadada, mamama, bababa, nanana," etc.(he also mimics me with a ssss noise when I shoosh him in the mornings as we're walking by Belle's room), crawling/scooting all over the place to steal Belle's toys, and walking while holding my fingers (even though sometimes he gets excited and lets go of me and I have to catch him quickly!)

He has 5 and a half teeth (he's finally getting his right front tooth:-) This kid is awesome and such a boy- he loves hitting everything, especially things that make noise, he loves biting my shoulders when he hugs me, and he LOVES his sister and his daddy.
